Hi Friends,

Here is our latest update for Youth Alive and Dr. Dave Burrows. Thanks for all of your prayers and support.

Since our last report Pastor Dave has travelled to Los Angeles CA on April 22-25th for the annual Azusa Street Festival where he shared along with a number of other panelists and speakers include Actor Derek Luke of the movie “Antoine Fisher”. A part of the event was a visit to skid row where the host ministry headed by Fred Berry handed out food to the homeless..

During this visit Pastor Dave took time to visit Abundant Living Family Center High Desert, pastored by Pastor Mark Graham for the monthly Youth Blast which featured special Movie clips, musical guests and a special teaching session. Hundreds of youth came out and positively responded to the events of the evening.

Next up was a visit to Stamford Connecticut May 21-24 where Dr. Burrows served as guest speaker for a special Youth Explosion at Ministerio Bethania hosted by Pastor Nancy Avila. Many were blessed by the time of ministry and a number of young made commitments to Christ.

Next up was a Youth Pastors and Workers Training Event  on May 29th hosted in conjunction with TYC where a number of local youth leaders and pastors received training from Dr. Dave Burrows series titled “Youth Ministry Training Course’. Many expressed gratitude for the wealth of information they received.

Pastor Dave then travelled to St. Maarten July 1-4th  for a tremendous time of ministry at Youth Event hosted by the Johnson Sisters better known as Jumelle. This event featured day and night teaching sessions along with music and a special concert featuring Monty G and hosted by Tempo TV gospel host Jamie Thomas. Pastor Dave also filmed an interview series for Tempo with Jamie and Monty G which will be aired within the next month or two.

Following the event in St. Maarten pastor Dave travelled to Dominica July 5 - 10thfor the GO (Generation of Opportunity) International Youth event hosted by Rhoda St. John. This week saw a number of young men in particular come to Christ and delegates receive teaching from Dr. Burrows on leadership and destiny. The event ended with a special service at Lifeline Christian Fellowship hosted by prominent local pastor Bernard Joseph.
